company leadership

Robert brings over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas sector along with a proven track record of leadership and success. He has built an extensive base of drilling industry knowledge through roles spanning engineering, operations, sales, business development and digital transformation. Most recently, he served as Baker Hughes’ Executive Director for North America Wireline Services, where he led more than 200 people in 16 locations and generated significant revenue across the North American portfolio. Prior to that role, he was Weatherford’s Global Director of Digital Transformation and New Energy Solutions, leading innovation efforts to help global clients succeed amid a new era of energy transition. Robert holds an MBA and Master of Science in Finance from Kelly School of Business at Indiana University and Bachelor degrees in both Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.

Robert’s deep experience and market knowledge make him well-positioned to lead the company through the next phase of growth.

Technical Director

neotork, the flagship product of Neo-Oiltools, was invented by Philippe, one of the founders of the company. He began his career as a design engineer at Security DBS in Belgium, where he specialised in coring and drilling tools. With a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Gramme Institute in Liege, Philippe went on to become the Technical Director at Corpro in 1999. He continued to hold this position when Corpro became part of Reservoir Group in 2007 until 2013. When ALS Oil & Gas acquired Reservoir Group in 2013, Philippe remained as Technical Director until 2014. His passion for engineering has not diminished over the years, and he has multiple patents in the drilling industry to his name, including neotork.

Technical Manager

In 2005, Michael launched his career as a Design Engineer in the aviation industry. He later became a Technical Support Engineer at Reservoir Group, where he worked alongside Philippe. In 2015, Michael teamed up with Philippe and played a crucial role in the creation and advancement of neotork. Along with his extensive experience in the industry, Michael boasts impressive academic credentials, including Master’s Degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Gramme Institute in Liege and General Management from HEC-ULg at the University of Liege.

Chief Financial Officer

With a distinguished 30-year career in finance and management, Patrick is a notable alumnus of H.E.C. Liège. His expertise, cultivated as a financial and administrative director, spans a broad spectrum of responsibilities. He’s adept in overseeing accounting, budget planning, and managing key corporate sectors, including Quality, Environment, IT, and Legal departments. Beyond his professional prowess, Patrick’s passion for golf mirrors his strategic approach and dedication to excellence. His multifaceted expertise and strategic insights make him an invaluable asset to our team, embodying a blend of professional rigor and personal passion.

North America Region Manager

Based in Houston, TX, Guy oversees neotork activity across North America. With 25 years’ experience in oil and gas, and a background in geology, Guy’s professional journey began in New Zealand with Baker Hughes before moving to Malaysia to manage coring operations for Corpro (Reservoir Group) in the Asia Pacific region. In 2004 he joined Weatherford where he held various roles, with increasing levels of accountability, taking him to Australia, New Zealand, Aberdeen, London, Brazil and finally the US where he became VP, Sales and Marketing in 2016. In 2018 Guy joined the neotork team where his passion for exploring innovative, specialized products and a genuine dedication to excellence has helped Philippe and the team to commercialize and continually improve neotork.

Middle East Region Manager

JV kicked off his career in Belgium at Security DBS-Halliburton, crossing paths with Philippe before venturing to Corpro later on Reservoir Group, where he embarked on a two-decade journey. His recent shift in 2021 led him to neotork, where he assumed responsibility for steering operations and business development across the Middle East. Throughout his career, JV navigated diverse roles, serving as regional manager and contributing significantly to frontline business development, operations, and product management across the multiple regions he was managing. His professional focus predominantly spanned Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. JV completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Science at Bordeaux University in France and has recently begun pursuing a Master’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering at Heriot-Watt University.

Latin America Region Manager

César is a senior operations and commercial manager with over 26 years of international experience in the oil and gas sector. Before joining neotork in 2022, he spent 21 years with SLB in sales and operational roles in Venezuela, Mexico, Ecuador, Peru, Canada and Colombia. As a RSS Global Product Champion based in HQ offices in Houston, César also participated in business development projects leading to strategic growth and the implementation of innovative drilling optimization solutions around the world. In 2018 César joined Parker Drilling as the Service Delivery Manager for Latin America, responsible for strengthening the culture of continuous improvement by ensuring that the supply chain, quality control and asset management teams complied with corporate processes and procedures; thus securing the timely, profitable and flawless execution of contracts.
